Mr. Zegers is a Managing Director at ACP Capital Markets with 15 years of investment banking experience.  He specializes in M&A and advisory work and is highly proficient in tactics around complex execution (including cross-border transactions, hostile approaches/shareholder communications, tender offers, LBOs, carve-outs).  Prior to ACP, Mr. Zegers was a Director in the Technology Investment Banking group at Stifel (formerly Thomas Weisel Partners) where he was responsible for the origination and execution of 20 M&A transactions for aggregate consideration of  over $2 billion and 35 capital markets transactions (IPOs, follow-ons, converts, and debt offerings) raising over $5 billion.   Mr. Zegers has also worked at UBS Investment Bank, Prospect Capital Corporation, and Redwood Capital Partners.  He began his career with Ernst & Young in the Global Strategic Planning group.

 

Mr. Zegers graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with dual degrees in Information and Decision Systems and Industrial Management.  He has an MBA from Columbia Business School with a concentration in Finance and Economics.  He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
