Mr. Zegers is a Managing Director at ACP Capital Markets with over 20 years of investment banking experience.  He specializes in M&A and advisory work and is highly proficient in tactics around complex execution (including cross-border transactions, carve-outs, hostile approaches / shareholder communications, tender offers, LBOs).  He has deep industry experience in technology (hardware / semiconductors, industrial technologies, software / SaaS) and telecom infrastructure (fiber, towers, data centers).  Mr. Zegers has been responsible for the origination and execution of 25 M&A transactions with aggregate consideration of over $3 billion and 40+ capital markets transactions (IPOs, follow-ons, converts, debt, privates) raising over $5 billion.  Prior to ACP, Mr. Zegers was a Director in the Technology Investment Banking group at Stifel (formerly Thomas Weisel Partners) and has also worked at UBS Investment Bank, Redwood Capital Partners, Prospect Capital Corporation, and Ernst & Young. 

 

Mr. Zegers has dual BS degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.  He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
