Sagiv is a Managing Director and the Head of M&A and Advisory Services at Aldwych Capital Partners.
Sagiv has led the M&A teams at National Securities Corp., StoneX Inc., and Merriman Capital. Sagiv has advised governments, agencies, private and public companies, and financial institutions, with a particular focus on cross-border and international assignments.
Prior to entering investment banking, Sagiv served as Chief Financial Officer of multi-national diversified holding companies. At his last corporate position, Sagiv served as CFO of The Plastiflex Group, an international manufacturing company, with over 6,000 employees in 10 locations in eight countries. Sagiv led the acquisition, integration, and divestiture of several businesses.
Sagiv currently is the chairman of the audit committee of Lomiko Metals Inc. (TSX-V:LMR) and has served on the boards of several publicly-traded companies, as well as on the boards of private entities and charities.
Sagiv has been published and interviewed in Euromoney, Institutional Investor, The Economist, The Deal, Corporate Finance and other publications. Sagiv has been a guest speaker at the National Sciences and Technology Institute’s annual conference, the Columbia University Alumni Association VC Form, the Deutsche Boerse’s annual capital markets conference, the Association of University Technology Managers’ annual conference, the Watec Clean Water and Tech forum and at other forums and events.
Sagiv lectures at the IESE Graduate School of Business and the Griffith School of Management at Emanuel University, he has served as a peer reviewer on international finance for the Journal of Financial Management and Global Finance Journal, and has advised on several published academic papers. Sagiv was an associate editor of the Nanotechnology Law & Business Journal, a member of the American Finance Association and the Financial Management Association. Sagiv holds a B.Sc. in Finance and Ph.D. International Finance.
Sagiv is the recipient of the M&A Deal of the Year Award (cross-border, under $500 mil) for 2014 and of the Turnaround Deal of the Year Award (healthcare, under $50 mil) for 2019.
He holds Series 7, 24, 63, 79 and 99 securities licenses with FINRA.
