Bio
Mr. Wallace is a Managing Director with ACP Capital Markets and brings over 25 years of experience in Alternative Investments to the firm’s clients.
With a primary focus on delivering capital advisory services, his background includes both the origination and the distribution of private funds and other alternative products across the various sub-sectors, including Leveraged Buyout, Private Credit , Venture Capital and Real Assets. Michael was a senior member of the Merrill Lynch Private Equity Group with responsibility for many of the firm’s largest institutional relationships and more recently was associated with Franklin Templeton Alternatives as Managing Director and Head of the firm’s Emerging Markets Private Credit and Real Assets platform. He was previously a founding member of the Knight Capital Groups’ Private Funds Advisory effort. Michael began his career at JP Morgan and Company where he completed the bank’s Commercial Bank Management Program. He later joined CS First Boston as a Vice President responsible for distributing structured mortgage-backed securities and other derivative products.

Michael studied at Rutgers College and Fairleigh Dickinson University and holds a BS in Accounting and Economics with Honors. He holds series 7, 63, 65 and 79 Licenses.
