Mr. Avery is a member of the Management Board of ACP and was a founding partner in 2013.  His primary responsibility is oversite of structuring, credit and origination management with Anvil Energy Partners where he participates on Credit Committee.  Prior to founding Anvil Mr. Avery began the Sub-Saharan Africa practice and the MENA practice at ACP.

 

Mr. Avery has strong relationships in the Middle East and Asia where he facilitates access to MENA/GCC/ASEA region for the EM Strategy at Aldwych.

Mr. Avery has 17 years of finance and investment experience across several billion dollars of engagements including direct investment and lending, public and private company financing, M&A and emerging markets special situations.

 

Mr. Avery holds an MBA from Columbia University focusing on finance and international markets, MsC from New York University concentrating in real estate finance, as well as a graduate degree in finance and accounting from the London School of Economics. He earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Boston College.
