Chris Smyth is a consultant to ACP Capital Markets, LLC. Mr. Smyth has over 20 years of experience in the IP / patent industry, encompassing corporate development, strategy, and executive management roles at various leading professional services and information services businesses in the space, including RPX, Global Prior Art, Walker Digital, and Thomson Reuters.  Mr. Smyth, through the boutique consultancy Watershed IP, actively consults with NPEs and corporate patent holders engaged in patent licensing and enforcement programs covering various technologies including standards-based telecommunications, semiconductors, consumer electronics, and networking.

Mr. Smyth received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and his MBA from NYU-Stern and is a licensed Patent Agent with the USPTO.

 

Chris resides in Stamford, CT with his wife and three children.
