Bio

Chris Kane is the founder of Vista 2 Ventures, an advisory firm focused on facilitating debt and equity transactions in the private market space. He raised more than $2 billion in primary capital for private companies including Lyft, Inc among others. Vista also places secondary shares for founders, employees and other shareholders.

 

Chris started his career at The First Boston Corporation focusing on mergers and acquisitions before joining Salomon Brothers where he ultimately was head of proprietary credit trading. He founded his own opportunistic hedge fund in 2004 after being a portfolio manager at both Tudor Investment Corporation and Moore Capital. Chris has 35 years of global investment experience both as a principal and advisor.

Mr. Kane received his B.A. from Columbia University. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
