Bio
Asit Sen is a Managing Director and the Head of Energy Transition & Industrial Decarbonization where he focuses on large-scale decarb project client solutions (key specialization in energy, power & industrial sectors globally), Future of Energy capital raises and M&A (driving collaboration between new energy & traditional energy; climate tech and carbon market innovation), and cross-border capital market solutions (initially focused on the US-India Economic Corridor & other select regions).
Mr. Sen has 25+ years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, portfolio investments, equity research and sustainable finance with specialization in the energy, energy transition, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
Before moving to ACP, he was the Head of Net Zero & Energy Transition Advisory at Bank of America. Since 2017 for over seven years at Bank of America as a Managing Director, Mr. Sen established a differentiated track-record in advising C-suites, senior industry clients, strategic investors and portfolio managers, building upon his longstanding work in various global energy sub-sectors (upstream, downstream, infrastructure), along with his deep involvement in Net Zero, Carbon Management and Sustainable Finance/Banking. He also made significant contributions to the bank’s impressive $1.5 trillion environmental business commitment, one the largest of its kind among financial institutions. Prior to BofA he demonstrated a diverse track record in banking, portfolio management (buy-side) and energy research (sell-side).
Mr. Sen hold a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and an MBA from Baruch College, The City University of New York. He is a CFA charter holder.
